Paris Fashion Week Fall -Winter 13/14 has been more than packed this season, running between shows, presentations and parties! You’ll find below few pictures from the H&M party to the Hakaan and John Galliano shows!! Bisous xx
Yesterday was the John Galliano S/S 2013 Men Show at La Cité de la Mode in Paris.
Surrealism and Dadaisme – Inspired by Man Ray, Salvador Dali, René Magritte and André Breton, the collection mixes print with embroidery, top-to-toe matching prints and bias cutting. Graphic black and white, blue skies, monochrome canvases, melting hot forms, surrealist found objects, and starry nights are combined to evoke this dreamscape of men.
One of the hottest show this season for sure, our Turkish chouchou Hakaan is back with strong iconic woman flirting with past and future!
On the rhythm of Scorses ‘s classic After Hours music , she is moving with sculptural strong shape illuminated by neutral monochrome color : copper , black ,metallic blue, grey, green.
Hakaan is destructing the structure to embellish the silhouette with new volume and minimal high-tech fabric.
Oversize zipper on fragile dress, skirt and top are mixed with leather jump suit, luxurious leather with a touch of military green fur , brocart pieces , high waisted skirt and black spike on boots reinforce the message of modern independent feminity.
It was under a rainy sunday that the show took place at Jardin des Tuileries in Paris.
Dark and decedent silhouettes step into the spotlight for John Galliano Fall-Winter 2012/13. Actually we were without voice to see this Grandiose show!
The collection takes its cue from aristocratic heiresses set in the wilds of the English landscape, their stately grandeur inspiring a bold modern attitude.
Tailored riding coats with exaggerated capes and feminine draped collars have fitted waists, contrasting lengths and soft plissé movement.
We also LOVED the evening dresses, they mixed a sensual modernity in bias cut chiffon, darkest blues and vibrant reds. Dramatic silhouettes, Aristocratic, Baroque.
Well done Bill!
